Salve-se Quem Puder!

The second action of the group O Estendal hit the streets last weekend at Praça São Salvador and it was a great success. We had lots of illustrious guests including

Milton Guran - photographer, anthropologist and curator - and his wife

The lovely Lia Renha, art director fabulastic from Nosso Lar.

Phillippe Machado - the official Lomo Guy of Rio de Janeiro... he brought a prototype of a new panoramic lomo - 35 mm film, occupies two frames and gives 106 degrees of Lomo Love! Gonna send the film to get developed today!!

The celebrated actor Daniel Oliveira a.ka. Agnello, Cazuza, Hiroito, O Professor etc etc etc, and Denis Feijão, executive producer of Boca do Lixo (which premieres Saturday at the Festival do Rio and stars Daniel!!!) and Raul Seixas - O Início, o Fim e o Meio.

William Fenton-Hathaway, our curator from Los Angeles, who was present via Skype! Welcome to the 21st century!!!

Lots of normal people out and about on the weekend, including (from the top left and in clockwise order) - a homeless guy, a fireman, an old guy going grocery shopping, the Baiana selling Acarajé, the Nestle popsicle guy, and of course granny (lots of them!)

Oh yeah, and lots of really cute kids like Julia here.
