It's been two days since my internet has been down. Now it's on its way back, but only intermittently... what a desperate situation!! Seriously, how did people survive before the cable modem? For us photographers, we definitely had to do a lot more running around!
Speaking of running around, that's what I did on Tuesday. I was up at the crack of dawn in hopes of catching the early light on the Lagoa, when the water is still and like a mirror. I had to produce a 10 meter wide panorama that is going to be used for a new apartment building that will be built near the Lagoa.
I think that the early bird got the worm...
During the day it was off to São Conrado to shoot a beautiful mansion for Wolff Interiores. It was a beautiful, stately home and a pleasure to photograph. This is the little girl's room:
And a detail of the dining room chairs:
And as if that wasn't enough clicking for one day, after we finished photographing the house we ran to the Linha Vermelha - the highway linking the city to the International Airport and the North zone of Rio - to get a shot of the cars passing at twilight.
While waiting for the light to get just right, I took advantage of the moment and snapped a candid of my partner, Ana... When else would we just be sitting there, hanging around the Linha Vermelha?!?
It was a beautiful day, one of those days that remind me why I choose to live in this big, crazy city... it is truly the City of Marvels... A Cidade Maravilhosa!!
